The AASRT is a professional organization composed of technologists, educators and radiology managers from a diverse area of specialties within the Radiology field. These include Diagnostic Radiography, CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, and Cardiovascular- Interventional. 

Our mission is to promote the Art and Science of Radiologic Technology, including: To improve the standards of professional conduct and service in the non- medical aspects of clinics and hospital radiology departments; To assist in establishing and maintaining high standards of both the education and training of radiologic technologists; To provide a means of inter-communication between technologists and management.
