The AASRT is a professional organization composed of technologists, educators and radiology managers from a diverse area of specialties within the Radiology field. These include Diagnostic Radiography, CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, and Cardiovascular- Interventional. 

The mission of the Alamo Area Society of Radiologic Technologists is to provide continuing education credits to members, to advocate for certification in diagnostic imaging, and to provide a forum to network and promote professionalism within the field of diagnostic imaging.
